MEDLABSTATS is a site dedicated to the provision of practical programs and resources for medical scientists, clinicians and other health professionals.

It was launched in February 2002. The underlying concept is to provide you, as a member of the medical science community, with scientifically and statistically sound computing and online database resources which are economic and available from wherever you have access to the internet.

About the Author
Dr Tom Hartley is a clinical biochemist with over 40 years experience in Hospital Pathology Laboratories (Leeds General Infirmary, St Mary's Hospital Portsmouth, Institute of Medical and Veterinary Science Adelaide, Royal Hobart Hospital Tasmania) and 12 years in University based research and lecturing (University of Tasmania). He has specialised in the biochemistry of clinical nutrition, statistical methods of laboratory data analysis, instrumental methods of analysis, quality systems (ISO15189), and laboratory computing including Laboratory Information Systems and bespoke programming in the Windows, Linux and Android environments. This is his website devoted to these interests.
